Hit Rating and expertise.

Anyone got any numbers on what hit rating and expertise that is the cap for a prot tank?
And what these are vs each other,like:
"Max hit rating 40 + 20 expertise"
or
"max hit rating 50 +10 expetise"
or
"max hit rating 20 + 40 expetise" etc...

Because I feel a bit "off" then it come to this subject as a tank...

I'm really no expert but be.imba.hu is a good place to start when it comes to hints on your gear/spec. Although it's not really 100% reliable.
You can check out Elitist Jerks posts on warriors (seen those).

Ofc, I'm just bored at work now and getting info from someone like Wolfie, or your own personal experience would be MUCH more valuable than my babble.

I'm not the most educated inside prot warriors Razz

but atleast for fury warriors they say that 200+ hit rating is requires for raiding end game...

Myself i had 190 before i switched my shoulders, and now i have 170... And you only need like 150+ to hit on every special attack. bloodthirst, heroic strike etc... the 200+ is for all attacks i believe.
Hit rating food for raiding if you cant get the 200+ is a idea

i am gonna change out some gems eventually to get the 200+

Expertise rating i don't have much clue on tbh, i have 0, and i can't say i miss any Razz

95 hit for special attacks and 200 hit for all attacks but 150 hit is enough for SSC, TK

For a dps cyclus = melee - Bloodthirst - Whirlwind, if your rage is above 50 you can use heroic strike, and when a lot off mobs are running around dont forget sweeping strike Wink

Battle shout and rampage should be up at all time!!

Expertise can be counted as hitrating, sort off, it makes your target dodge, parry, block your attacks less
